The City of Duncaer was a thriving industrial port city situated on both banks of the River _______ where it meets the sea and empties into Corran Sound. In 32 AC a storm of uncharacteristic power slammed Corran Sound. The cities of the bay were woefully unprepared, lacking many of the safeguards commonplace in cities located closer to the equator, but Duncaer was by far the most devastated. The old city, located atop a steep hill overlooking the bay was mostly spared from the flooding in the aftermath, however the working class and industrial neighborhoods which occupy the more low lying land on the northern bank of the river were devastated. In the months since the storm, order has been lost and the streets and river have become battlegrounds as the military, the Bloody Marys, and the Screwdrivers fight for territory.
